Assistant Professor of Operations Management
Jing Zhou joined the Belk College of Business in Fall 2006. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Before joining the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Decision Technologies Department in Hewlett-Packard Laboratories for one year. Her research work focuses on issues addressing supply chain management and coordination, production and inventory control, and electronic commerce through applications of dynamic optimization approaches and game theory. She has been published in the Production and Operations Management and the Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization. Her projects in Hewlett-Packard include product proliferation management and web personalization.
