Advisory Board
The Belk College has established an advisory
board for the Risk Management and Insurance Program to provide
broad-based guidance on program goals and development and on
student recruitment and placement.
To enhance the educational experience of our
students and to provide networking and contact opportunities,
Advisory Board members will participate in the program in many
ways, including the following:
- speaking to students on topics and issues related to risk
management and insurance, and serving as guest lecturers,
- offering internship opportunities
that will provide hands-on experience for the students,
- providing topics, questions and
guidance for students who do independent research as part of
their coursework;
- serving as members of committees that evaluate student presentations and research;
- providing potential employment opportunities for graduates
of the program.
